Professional biography sketch
Daw-Tung Lin received the B.S. degree in control
engineering from National Chiao-Tung University, Hsin Chu, Taiwan, in 1985, and
the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of
Maryland at College Park, MD, U.S.A., in 1990 and 1994, respectively. From 1995
to 2005, he was as an Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Science
and Information Engineering at the Chung Hua University, Hsin Chu, Taiwan. He
is currently an Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Science and
Information Engineering at the National Taipei University, Taipei County,
Taiwan. His current research interests are pattern recognition, medical image
processing, neural networks, fuzzy systems, and intelligent surveillance.
