Electronic Data Processing (EDP)

人類的演進以工業革命和資訊革命影響人類的生活為最鉅。目前我們邁向21世紀，國家的經濟由傳統朝向新的經濟領域--資訊工業與科技的當中，必須建立好的而且正確的觀念。總共包括五部份:新經濟之資訊科技，活用作業系統，網際網路與全球資訊網，個人的資料處理，有關計算機的原理。

Programming Language (I): C and C++

　C/C++ 族系的語言無礙是目前最受歡迎的語言，由於C 語言可說是 C++ 的子集合（SUBSET），因此我們在此不特別說明之，將其視為一體。 C/C++ 族系早期之所以受歡迎一方面是因為其精簡的特性，另一方面則和 UNIX有很大的關係；現在情況相仿，由於 MS-WINDOWS 是以 C 撰寫而成，因此 C/C++ 就成為最常被使用來撰寫 WINDOWS 程式的工具（在 VB還未出現以前，它幾乎可以說是唯一選擇）。

Today, skills are needed to deal with all this numerical information. First, we need to be critical consumers of information presented by others. Second, we need to be able to reduce large amounts of data into a meaningful form so that we can make effective decisions. Today, many students have a computer at home or in their dorm room, and most have access to a computer in a ComputerLab. Statistical software is widely available, as is electronically stored data. In response to these changes, I need students know how to using EXCEL and MINITAB software to do their homework in the class.
